What does the cost of the retreat cover?

Four days of programming beginning on Thursday afternoon and ending Sunday midmorning; single room occupancy for three nights; dinner on Thursday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday; breakfast on Sunday; transportation to The Blue Ridge Parkway and back on Saturday; one 1:1 virtual coaching session before the retreat and one 1:1 virtual coaching session after the retreat.

What does the cost of the retreat not cover?

Airfare, ground transportation (other than the one day we go to the Blue Ridge Parkway), transfers or other transportation, spending cash.

How do I get to Dillsboro, NC?

Asheville Regional Airport—56 miles

Atlanta International Airport—159 miles

Flight timing—Check in begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday and check out is at 11:00 am on Sunday

What is the bring-a-friend discount?

We have one double-occupancy room available at a special rate for two people to share. This is on a first-come first-served basis. If you are interested in sharing a room for a special rate of $1950 per person, please contact Opal at opal@unbindedlife.com for more information.

What is the weather like in October?

While the weather is always unpredictable, we can usually expect warm temperatures during the day and cool temperatures morning, evening, and at night. It will likely be very cool and breezy when we go on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Think about dressing in layers and definitely bring a jacket.

What do I wear?

We will spend most of our time at the private venue except for when we walk to casual dinners and shopping. We will be outdoors on Saturday which calls for athleisure/casual comfortable clothes and of course, your most comfortable shoes if you choose to hike that day.

What is not allowed?

Firearms, weapons, pets, and no smoking or vaping on the premises.

I want to extend my trip, where should I stay?

There are a variety of hotels including Best Western, Holiday Inn Express, and Microtel, as well as local options including The Dillsboro Inn and Motel Sylva. Additionally, there are many options on Airbnb and VRBO.

My family would like to come and stay nearby. Where do you recommend?

How do I schedule my 1:1 virtual coaching session?

You will be emailed a link to schedule within a two-week window before the retreat. You will have your second 1:1 virtual coaching session within a two-week window after the retreat as well.

When will I receive a detailed itinerary?

You will receive a detailed itinerary via email two weeks before the retreat.

What time does the retreat start and end?

The retreat begins on Thursday, October 2 at 4:00 pm with check-in and ends at 11:00 am on Sunday, October 5 with check-out.

What if I have dietary needs?

We will do our best to accommodate your specific dietary needs that are shared with us at least two weeks ahead of time. For the meals we eat at restaurants, please refer to their menus and options.

Are refunds available?

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for any reason.
